During this complimentary consultation, we will discuss your situation, needs, and goals to make sure we are good match. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions. During this call we will set up an initial assessment.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE INITIAL ASSESSMENT
During your initial visit and assessment, some or all of the following will be done:

Take a complete health history and find out your goals or objectives.

Conduct an assessment.

Assessments differ according to the reason why you are seeing a kinesiologist.

Some typical assessments may include strength and flexibility testing, cardiovascular testing, gait assessment, balance and functional movements

Discuss the findings of the assessment with you.

Propose a personalized treatment plan that will meet your goals or objectives.

Obtain consent for the treatment plan, as well as for fees and method of billing.

Collaborate with other health professionals as appropriate.
A kinesiologist may need to touch or feel different body parts or ask questions of a personal nature to fully understand your condition or injury.

We may communicate and/or collaborate with your other health professionals for a clearer picture of your rehabilitation needs and restrictions.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING SESSIONS
You can expect an one-on- one session, starting with a check in where we discuss any changes, concerns, achievements since the last session. This is typically followed by reviewing and progressing exercises from previous sessions.
Treatment by kinesiologists is often hands-on.
Treatments could involve manual therapy, exercise instruction and a series of other modalities
